Michael L. Thomas is Director of Research and Senior Portfolio Manager at AIQ Asset Management, where he also serves as a co-founder. With nearly 30 years of experience in financial services, Michael brings a distinguished track record in managing institutional assets and guiding strategic research initiatives. Before co-founding AIQ, he was a founding partner and Senior Portfolio Manager at Falcon Point Capital, overseeing more than $1 billion in assets across small cap equity and high-yield strategies for leading pension funds, endowments, and high-net-worth clients. His earlier roles include managing small cap equities at Dresdner RCM Global Investors and conducting in-depth equity research at Salomon Smith Barney and Montgomery Securities. Michael began his career as a consultant with Andersen Consulting. He holds a B.A. in Finance, Magna Cum Laude, from Loyola University Maryland and an MBA with Honors from Columbia Business School.
